The lesser evil is often the best option.
The History of Gwent: The Game Within the Game

In The Witcher universe, it is a favorite pastime of merchants, nobles, and soldiers. It became so popular that CD Projekt Red released it as a standalone title.

• Mechanics: It is played over 3 rounds with a deck of cards (factions like Nilfgaard or Skellige), using units (infantry, missiles, siege) and special abilities. The objective is to overcome the opponent's total power in 2 out of 3 rounds, managing limited resources.
• Iconic Cards: Some represent key characters (such as Geralt, Ciri, or Yennefer) or creatures (Bruxa, Dragon).
• Collecting: Geralt can earn cards by defeating NPCs in matches or by purchasing them, encouraging exploration.
