Astérix y compañía (Spanish)

Take control of characters from the legendary comic by Uderzo and Goscinny! In this family card game, you must use Gauls, Romans, and neutral characters to earn as many sestertii as possible. It is a return to the iconic universe of Asterix and, at the same time, a strategic challenge that plays out in half an hour. Sip some magic potion and get ready for battle!

Designed by François Rouzé and Jean-Marc Tribet, this game based on the popular comic by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo can be enjoyed by two players or in groups of up to four (ages 8 and up) in sessions lasting about 35 minutes. Turn by turn, players use their characters—Gauls, Romans, and neutrals—to fight battles and earn sestertii. The first person to reach 50 sestertii wins the game!

Each player holds a hand of five characters, which they can play onto the album cards placed in front of them. Depending on the album's color, only specific characters can be played. These characters possess powerful abilities to defeat enemies, and players also have access to bonuses—such as magic potion, a delicious wild boar, or fresh fish—that can tip the scales of victory at the most unexpected moment. When the combined power of a player's characters reaches 15 or more, they claim the album card, earning 15 sestertii and moving one step closer to victory. Helmets also provide valuable sestertii, so you must keep a close eye on the action at the table.

*Asterix & Co.* is packed with nods to fans of the legendary comic by Uderzo and Goscinny, ranging from iconic album covers to the appearance of classic characters from the saga. But beyond the theme, the game offers a highly entertaining challenge that will put players' character-management skills to the test. Will the indomitable Gauls once again withstand the might of Rome?
