Escape From Pirate Cove

For years, pirates around the world have been telling stories about the dreaded pirate Capt‘n Whitebeard. After hiding his valuable treasures in Pirate Cove, he and his ship sunk in a terrible storm.
Since then, Whitebeard‘s ghost has closely guarded his treasures and turned over every pirate ship that he catches trying to steal his treasures.
But Capt‘n Jack and the brave crew on his ship, the Sea Cucumber, aren‘t scared by these spooky seaman‘s yarns. They bravely grab Whitebeard‘s treasures, and hurry back to their ship. But shiver me timbers - the ghost capt‘n is hot on their heels, and the fleet of ghost ships is already on the horizon.
Are you brave, and do you have enough brains and luck to chase away the ghost ships with Capt‘n Jack? Then pay attention and hurry up! If you manage to escape from Pirate Cove, you‘ll be the richest and bravest pirates on the seven seas.

Game preparation
Place Pirate Cove (= the game board) in the middle of the table.
Shuffle the ocean tiles face down, and distribute them around the game board. Place the ghost of Capt‘n Whitebeard on the starting field of his path. Each player places a treasure chest (= layout) in front of them. Keep the die and the fortune coin ready.
