Port Royal Time to fulfill some contracts

The pirate game, Port Royal, receives its first expansion.

This expansion introduces new and very interesting elements to the game that allow new ways to play.

New Characters and Ships

Three new characters; Admiral, Vice Secretary and Gunner and two new ships. They can be simply added to the base game and played with the traditional rules, or incorporated along with contracts under the new rules for competitive, cooperative, or solo play.

The Contracts

The Contracts add specific tasks to perform; configure the port in a certain way, obtain certain characters, pay taxes, defeat ships etc etc..

By incorporating Contracts into the game, it can be developed in three systems:

Game competitive; Contracts are an additional way to earn coins and victory points but logically they involve a change in the "traditional" way of playing, adding great replayability to the base game.

Cooperative play; the players will cooperate to be able to carry out the Contracts, it is a very different variant from the competitive one where the "negative" impact of your actions on the rest of the players had to be continuously analyzed, now they will finally all work as a team to achieve the greatest number of contracts. If after a competitive game you have left a friend behind, now is the time to recover them with the cooperative variant…

Solo game; you alone face the game in order to complete the established contracts.
