Ominous whirring: Paleo
- The Hornets is a mini-expansion for the cooperative Stone Age game Paleo, which introduces hornets as a new danger. This module can only be played together with the basic game Paleo. Like all modules, this module can also be combined with all others. The degree of difficulty of the hornets adapts strongly to the modules with which they are combined.

In Paleo, the players slip into the role of a tribe in the Palaeolithic Age, which united in their quest for resources and thus have to struggle to experience. In 2021, Paleo was named Kenner's Game of the Year.
