Art forger Belratti has been using his extraordinary talent to plagiarize paintings for decades. He deceives the art world by appropriating the artistic signature of other painters. Today Belratti has seen the opportunity to sneak his fakes into a museum. Director Felina, head of the museum, wants to expand her modern art collection by adding two more rooms, and she goes in search of paintings. The great painter Búho wants to be in charge of painting those paintings... But Belratti will try to sneak in his masterful forgeries. Will he manage to outwit Felina and Owl? That depends on you!

Belratti is a card game created by Michael Loth that can be played by 3 to 7 people, ages 8 and up. This edition also features renewed art and design by Vipin Jacob and Gaël Lannurien. Players will take on the role of the director Felina and the famous painter Owl throughout the game and must cooperate to recognize the fakes and prevent them from entering the museum. After a series of rounds, the number of legitimate works that have entered the museum will determine the players' victory.

Deserving of a ton of awards and nominations, Belratti is a fantastic game to enjoy with both family and groups of friends. During the game, players will alternate the roles of Felina director and Owl painter. At the beginning of the round, two theme cards will be revealed, the players playing the director will announce a certain number of paintings they want for the museum, and then the players controlling the painter will play cards from their hand that somehow match them. the two theme cards. The proposed cards are then secretly mixed with other cards from the deck, symbolizing Belratti's forgeries. They are then revealed and the players leading the director will try to find the legitimate cards. If you choose a fake, they are separated into a separate pile. As soon as there are 6 or more squares in the forgeries pile, the game is over. If players have accumulated 15 or more legitimate paintings inside the museum, they win the game.

To make things easier for players, there are five wild cards that can be used once each during the game. They function as special abilities, allowing you to replace theme cards, consult a painting, add fewer fakes, or renew cards. And if the gaming group wants to adapt the experience, the rules offer different variants to adjust the difficulty of the games. Belratti adapts to any type of game!
