The large compartment is cut miniature-accurate to fit a Star Wars X-Wing Expansion Pack model of the Trident-class assault ship. Thus, the ship rests safely in its compartment made of soft foam. The precise fit design ensures that the miniature does not slip during transport. This not only protects the delicate parts from damage, but also the colors from abrasion and scratches.
