Plasticard Profile SQUARE BAR 0.5mm

Plasticard profiles made of ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), also known as Plasticard. The generic term plasticard refers to a type of plastic widely used in model making. ABS plastic is used to make LEGO pieces.

This plastic has very attractive physical properties for model making because, despite its strength and durability, it is very easy to work with. It can be purchased in sheets of different thicknesses, smooth or textured, as well as in profiles with a wide variety of shapes. The ideal glue for ABS plastics is cyanoacrylate. White glue can also be used, but it takes much longer to dry.

Plasticard made from ABS also has thermoplastic properties, which allows its shape to be altered with various heat sources.
