HOW TO USE IT?

1. Knead well Roll the putty or clay to the appropriate consistency. Be sure to follow the instructions for the product you are using. Apply an even layer of the material onto the base you are going to texture. Before using this roller, smooth the surface with a smooth roller for best results. If you are working with very sticky materials, it is advisable to dampen the roller or apply modeling grease to prevent sticking. Roll with constant pressure to transfer the texture evenly. Wait for the material to harden before cutting or final shaping. Use with different materials: This roller is compatible with many putties and clays on the market. Polymer clays, such as Super Sculpey, are an excellent option. They can be handled with confidence as they only harden when baked. If you want to texture directly onto a base, you can use MDF wood bases: they are Oven-safe and can withstand 150°C for 15 minutes without burning, although they may give off a smell similar to toast.

   As for epoxy putties, the technique varies depending on the type:

   With green stuff, which is quite sticky, it's recommended to dampen the roller or use petroleum jelly for modeling. You can also apply a small amount of talcum powder to reduce stickiness.

   In the case of Milliput putty, it's best to avoid excess moisture. If it's too sticky, simply continue kneading until the texture improves.

   *** Remember to clean the roller when finished, especially if you've worked with epoxy putties.

   CLEANING:

   Wash the roller with plenty of water and scrub with scratch brushes to remove any remaining material and keep the design in perfect condition.
