The Dragon's Jaws - Metal Box (Spanish)

The Dragon's Jaws - Metal Box is a classic dungeon-crawling role-playing game that fits into a small tin box.

WHAT'S IN THIS LITTLE GOLDEN METAL BOX?

- 1 - A sheet of paper with the game system.

You'll need 3d6 to complete the challenges. Are you going to descend a wall besieged by orcs? Roll 3d6, sort the results into high, medium, and low, keeping the middle value, apply the appropriate attribute modifier (Brawn, Brains, or Eye), and check the result. There will be successes and failures, aids and complications.

To create a PC, follow these steps: choose your species (elf, dwarf, human, or halfling), your class (cleric, warrior, thief, or wizard), your reputation, and distribute +1, 0, and -1 among the three attributes.

Magic is as simple as the system. You choose a spell from your list, spend the required XP (Essence Points), and make a Brain Test to determine the result. You can also craft items and use scrolls and potions.

A few more rules before setting out on your adventure, such as what equipment and armor you wear.

XP (Experience Points), how to earn them, and how to spend them to level up.

And finally, monsters and NPCs. A mini-bestiary and how to create your own.

- 2 - 6 cards with the 4 PC classes you can choose from (describing their main characteristics and selectable spells or abilities) and 2 additional aids.

- 3 - 2 A3 maps with the Captives of the Retal adventure for level 1 PCs.

It includes a small table to determine the PC's species and two d66 tables to determine each character's profession and two items they possess. You can create your own "Tomb of Horrors" and face it with a mob. Surviving will be difficult, but highly addictive.

- 5 - Character Sheet Template.

This gives you a reference for how to organize the information, but you can customize it to your liking. It's simply a template. You can divide a sheet of paper into 3 parts lengthwise, cut it out, and give each player a strip. Fold it into three more sections and fold the top section so it looks like a campaign. Other players at the table will be able to see your name and any information you'd like them to know, and on the other side is your character sheet. Customize it to your liking.
