Ubersreik is a city in turmoil, torn by divided loyalties. Even those who support Altdorf's rule know that the current situation cannot last. As rumors of events shaking the Empire filter from Middenheim, Altdorf, and beyond, it becomes more necessary for power to be consolidated in Ubersreik. Amidst rival merchants, titled nobles, callous spies, and outright thugs, a small band of adventurers and mercenaries has made a name for themselves. They have been arrested, enlisted, applauded as saviors, vilified as traitors, and dismissed as fools.
