GUMSHOE QUICKSHOCK REACHES ITS FINAL FORM
The King in Yellow uses the Gumshoe Quickshock system, an evolution of Gumshoe created by Rob D. Laws himself for this game. For this reason, to play The King in Yellow: New Normal, you need The King in Yellow: Paris, which includes the rules system. But even then, there are still things to discover.

This sequence is the most intimate and personal. The mysteries are closer, the decisions more visceral… that's why the characters won't always agree on what to do. Thus, this book includes rules for conflict between player characters. Gumshoe Quickshock has never been so complete.
