When you sit down to play Ker Nethalas: The Midnight Throne, you, the player, take on the role of the protagonist. This player character is your avatar in the dark tunnels of the necropolis, and it is your decisions (and luck!) that will determine their fate.

In Ker Nethalas, we use a 1d100-based mechanic to resolve all tasks. Whenever your character wishes to do something and the outcome isn't obvious or there's something at stake, you'll have to make a test. You must roll 1d00 and compare the result to the corresponding skill listed on your character sheet. If the result is equal to or lower than the skill value, you pass the test.
