Kindred of Shub-Niggurath Tome I

Kindred of Shub-Niggurath is a six-stage Lovecraftian horror campaign that redefines the myth of this ancient and his influence on humanity.

With a story arc that develops a plan to destroy the Black Goat, players will face issues such as identity, artificial intelligences and fertility, while the shadow of the Myths is cast sinister behind them all.

Volume I consists of two adventures: Dark Lullaby and Methateria.

Dark lullaby

The spirit of Lovecraft wanders in this adventure through Maine, the homeland of another master of the genre: Stephen King. Motherhood and fertility serve as the common thread of this nightmare that will take the player characters to a peaceful town linked to wine and grapes, whose tranquility is protected by a primeval forest ready to tear apart all those who delve into its secrets. This scenario is the first of six in the Kindred of Shub-Niggurath campaign, and in it the characters will take the first steps of a tangled plot that is not willing to let them escape.

Metatheria

In the second scenario of the campaign, a new group of characters will have to reconstruct the last days of a friend who was found on the road after having lost her memory. Along the way, they will face grim discoveries about their partner and themselves. Metatheria introduces players squarely into the story arc and forces them to ask themselves questions about what is at stake, and what role is in store for them.

HOW DOES IT PLAY?

The Kindred of Shub-Niggurath campaign uses the Cthulhu D100 system. Each scenario includes four pre-generated characters, although it is not mandatory to use them, and you can play with between two and six player characters. All the scenarios are prepared to be able to direct independently, if you prefer.
