The common room was filled with noise and laughter and it seemed as if all worries and troubles were forgotten. Only at a small round table sat a single man, the hood of his coat pulled low over his face and at first glance it seemed as if a drunk had fallen asleep here. But a faint glint from the hood's shadow showed the man wide awake, surveying the other guests. Hugo was sure that he had found the person he was supposed to be looking for. He walked over and, without being asked, sat down on the second chair that was still free...
