Babylon is a board game in which you take on the role of an eminent architect. Excavate the quarry to obtain the finest materials and use them wisely to construct your gardens. At the end of the game, the player who unveils the most impressive design to the king will be declared the winner and crowned the kingdom's greatest architect.

In the 6th century BC, Nebuchadnezzar II, King of Babylon, wished to honor his young wife, Amytis of Media, with magnificent gardens filled with exquisitely fragrant flowers. He summoned the most eminent architects of his kingdom to test their ingenuity and bring to life his vision of creating what would become one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

While Babylon is accessible to the whole family, it is also very popular among hardcore gamers due to the numerous optimization possibilities it offers.

The game box, which represents the quarry from which you will extract the building materials, is placed in the center of the table. On your turn, take a terrace tile of your choice from the quarry and receive a variable number of pillars, depending on its location. Use these pillars to place your tile on your personal board and, if possible, embellish your garden with different decorative elements. Build your terraces to move from one level to another and decorate them as much as you can. At the end of the game, each decorative element will award you victory points depending on the level it is on.
