Thebai (Spanish)

Dark times loom over the kingdom of Thebes. The aged and blind King Oedipus abdicated the throne in disgrace and asked his own sons, Polynices and Eteocles, to rule the city together. However, power corrupts, and old grudges demand new bloodshed. Soon, Polynices leads an army and marches from the rival city of Argos against his own brother. The Theban nobles support Eteocles as he maintains a precarious rule over Thebes. The young king requests defenders to guard the city's seven gates, while the invaders' seven champions lead the attack. Meanwhile, Thebes's famous citadel, Cadmea, lies in chaos, having fallen into a deplorable state since the days of Oedipus's father, King Laius. It seems as if the Fates themselves have conspired against the current rulers of Thebes!

In Thebai, players take on the roles of influential leaders of noble families during the turbulent late Bronze Age. Throughout the game, they must rebuild Cadmea, the citadel of Thebes, while restoring the city's exports, praying to the gods, and protecting the lives of citizens who witness the clash of great heroes spilling their blood beyond the city gates.
