Heroes: Write and Conquer (Spanish)

Heroes: Write and Conquer is a write-and-conquer board game set in a rich fantasy world.

In Heroes, players become the powerful warlords of each faction, whose goal is to conquer the world beyond the Ethereal Gate. In each round, one player determines the order and level of four actions, which are performed by all players.

Move through regions to gather resources and artifacts, capture fortresses, and fight monsters or other players. Build structures to make your troops stronger and faster. Heroes offers many different paths to earn victory points. The player with the most victory points at the end of the 16 rounds wins the game.

All changes during the game are marked with a marker on the player's board. The game's main feature is the different factions, each offering distinct characteristics and gameplay experiences.

The easiest factions to manage:

Humans: Possess powerful and relatively inexpensive troops. This faction can be controlled easily and effectively.

Undead: Capable of resurrecting warriors fallen in battle and casting curses on regions to weaken their rivals.

Intermediate Difficulty Factions

Gnomes: They have mechanical troops and, under certain conditions, gain the ability to construct structures at no cost.

Orcs: They possess a unique resource, rage, which allows them to enhance their actions and improve troops without constructing the corresponding structure.

High Difficulty Factions

Elves: They reinforce their troops with Griffins and Ents. They can obtain artifacts by spending wood, making it easier for them to access advantageous abilities.

The Nagas: Their water serpents serve as both warriors and resources, and a magical melody unique to this faction summons a special creature: the Hydra.

The 5 actions available during the game are:

Collect Wood: To obtain this resource and be able to construct structures.

Collect Iron: To obtain this resource and be able to construct structures.

Collect Gold: To obtain this resource and be able to construct structures and recruit units.

Movement: To move around the map and obtain resources or reach key locations for your strategy.

Build and Recruit: To construct structures and recruit units that you can produce.

Combat Between Players

Battles are fought with your units. The key value in a battle is the total power of your army (deployed units).

Before starting the battle, you decide how many units you want to deploy and what types: You can deploy all your units, some, or none.

To win a battle, the power of your units must exceed the power value of your opponent by at least 1. Regardless of the outcome of the battle, all participating (deployed) units are consumed and considered eliminated. Adjust their number on your board.

Before starting a battle, players can view their opponents' available units.

Secretly choose how many of your available units you will deploy.

Each player announces, in turn order, the total value of their power. Whoever has the highest power wins.

All participants remove the units they deployed in the battle. They have been eliminated.

The winner of the battle circles the leftmost free monster in their monster line on their board and chooses one of the following rewards:

The resources of the circled monster.

The difference in resources between their total attack value and the lowest value of the losing players. (They take these resources from the losing players.)

An artifact possessed by one of the defeated players.

If there is an artifact or a fortress in the battle region, the winner can conquer the fortress or claim the artifact.

Each player can fight with one monster, if they wish.
