Guide your railroad company through a territory brimming with strategic opportunities in Lightning Train, a train game based on stock market mechanics.

Upgrade your stock market to increase your company's resources and play tokens to build stations and railway lines across eight regions of North America. A fortune can be made by delivering goods to the cities that demand them… Will you collaborate with others or sabotage the competition? Which stations are essential to clearing the path to victory? Can you use the powerful lightning trains to overtake your rivals?

LIGHTNING TRAIN is a strategic stock market game where players compete to have the most prosperous railroad company of all.

You will draw random tokens from your personal stock market to determine what you can do on your turn. You can also buy new tokens to increase your options on subsequent turns.

Players use Train tiles to build railway lines between cities. The main way to get new Train tiles is through the Lightning Train icon.

Each city can be a producer of various types of goods or a location where a station can be built to receive those goods.

Most points are earned by making a goods delivery to a station that needs them. Goods always move along the fewest possible railway lines (the most direct route). Players score points for each of their railway lines used in a delivery.

At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points wins!
