Apocalypse Z is a cooperative game, with a duration approximately 40 minutes, recommended from 14 years old, from 1 to 4 players where we will put ourselves in the shoes of one or more characters, who are the main protagonists of the books, each one of them represented by a character sheet with its own characteristics and special abilities. span>

The campaign has a narrative component, integrated into the story told in the books and located between the first and second volumes of the saga. The protagonists begin this adventure sheltered in the Meixoeiro hospital and will have to definitively abandon that refuge due to a fire.
This narration is carried out by the author of the books himself, Manel Loureiro.

In each scenario we will have a selection of cards for the initial map, as well as a selection of events and some objectives to meet before the deck of cards runs out. threat. This makes the main purpose of the game to cooperate** closely to get certain resources while keeping the group safe. If we dedicate ourselves to killing all the zombies based on "rolling dice and making attacks" we may fail.

In each round the players decide the order of action of their characters looking for the best strategy for the group, at the start of each character's turn a threat card is drawn that can have positive or negative consequences, depending on the revealed event. Or disastrous if it is the last event card.

Each character has some action points to spend each turn, the possible actions are: move, attack, search for resources in buildings, raise barricades, trade inventory items with another character, or perform some characters' special action.
Available action points will be decreased by wounds, limiting actions to perform each turn.
