Rococó Deluxe Edition

Welcome to Rococo. Louis XV rules in France and the latest fashion is to attend his luxurious dances where the most important personalities wear extravagant dresses and elegant coats, all eager to be the one who has more elegance and grace. In just a few weeks, Louis XV will be the host of the Grand Dance of the end of the season and everyone wants an elegant frock here, a sumptuous dress there, or even a small sum to fund the great fireworks display. As you may have already noticed, this is not just a tailoring business; It is about getting a presence in the most prestigious dance of the time and the opportunity to gain eternal fame and prestige.

In Rococó: Deluxe Edition, you will be the owner of a distinguished tailoring business that strives to increase its prestige. Each turn, you will play an employee card that allows you to perform a task, such as hiring a new employee for your staff, making exquisite clothing and coats to rent or sell, or financing some of the many ornaments. However, employees cannot always perform all tasks, so you should carefully plan how you manage them, especially since each employee grants a unique bonus, including some that generate prestige.

The Grand Dance will end after seven rounds with a large display of fireworks and the final score. You will earn prestige points for the sumptuous dresses and frocks that you have rented to the dance guests, certain employee bonuses and the festive ornaments you have financed. Whoever has obtained the greatest prestige at the end of the game will be the winner.

Rococó: Deluxe edition contains the Jeweler expansion, the festive clothing expansion and the elegant clothing promotion (non-definitive titles), as well as a new expansion for solo play "Madame du Barry". This version of Rococó presents changes with respect to the previous edition of the base game, along with premium components that include custom touches of thread and resin; gold foil stamped with heat, wooden player markers; velvet cloth bags for clothing, silk tokens and jewelry; and improved dies for garments, silk and coins.
