The Ming Expeditions

In Chinese history, the Ming Expeditions were the seven maritime expeditions of the Treasure Fleet conducted between 1405 and 1433 under the Ming dynasty. Admiral Zheng He was in command of the fleet and reached places as diverse as Calicut, Hormuz or even East Africa. However, on the land borders of the Ming Empire, the enemy Barbarian was always on the prowl.

One of the players assumes the role of Emperor Ming, who attempts to complete all 7 Expeditions while protecting his Frontiers from barbarian invasions. The other player embodies the Barbarian Chieftain, and controls the 3 barbarian factions trying to establish themselves on the Borders of China.
