Lorenzo Il Magnifico (Big Box)

Lorenzo il Magnifico is a game in which each player will lead a noble family in Renaissance Florence, with which they must accumulate fame and prestige to earn more victory points (VP) than the others. To do this, you will send relatives to different parts of the city to meet different objectives. In some locations, you can earn valuable resources, and in others, development cards that represent new territories, sponsored buildings, influenced characters, or subsidized projects. In the rest of the places, you can activate the effects of these cards. Family members will not always be the same: at the beginning of each round, 3 dice will be rolled to determine their value. There are multiple ways to earn VP, but you will also need to pay attention to your relationship with the Church. The game is divided into three periods, each consisting of two rounds. At the end of each period, players must show their faith, as those who have not prayed with enough fervor will suffer stiff penalties. After 6 rounds the final score is calculated and the player with the most VP will be the winner.

The Big Box edition contains the base game Lorenzo il Magnifico and the expansions “Houses of the Renaissance” and “la congiura dei Pazzi”.
