Flotilla - DE

1954 - An unexpected nuclear weapons test tragedy triggered a global environmental catastrophe in which the seas inundated everything but the very highest mountains on the planet. Since then, the flotilla has been home to the last surviving human race.

As one of the last great Captains you work to bring prosperity to the flotilla that houses the last remnants of human civilization. You will explore newly formed seas, salvage what you can from the deep, rescue survivors, expand your crew, gain influence with the guilds that govern the flotilla... and
maybe - when the time is right - your collected ones Bring goods into the Flotilla by uniting your water settlement with it and thus participating in the construction of the new world!

Based on a card-controlled action selection, Flotilla offers two different variants in the game mechanics: ?Sinkside? and ?Skyside?. All players start the game as a ?Sinksider?, but can switch to the ?Skyside? switch. When you switch, you flip many of your game components and fill a different role for the rest of the game!

What makes the game special / Why does it appear on Strohmann Games:

The ability to switch sides once during the game, then turn your game material over and act in this changed role for the rest of the game. The fact that you then suddenly have other priorities and opportunities, but still remain in the same game, is new, feels very good and works extremely well here. In addition, the game has many attractive elements in which a player's decisions affect the options of the other players in the short and long term.
