More info

In Camel Up: Off Season, each of the 3-5 players has their own caravan of four camels that can carry goods, being able to carry 3, 4, 5 and 6 goods. Goods are of four types - rugs, pottery, dates and fruit - and these goods will be available in the markets, with more market at stake than the number of players. Each double-sided market indicates how many face up and face down cards will be available. In addition, each market has a special power that will affect the basic rules of the game, which causes an interesting interaction between players.

At the start of a round, players bid to see who first selects goods from a market, with the bidding rules set on the back of the highest goods card in the deck. The one who wins the bid pays his money to the bank, while the others keep their coins. (Coins are victory points, so don't spend too many of them.)

The winner of the bid chooses a market, uses the power of that market (if he wishes), then takes all the goods from that market, turns them face up (if necessary), and then loads the goods onto his camels. A camel can only hold goods of one type, and if one type of goods is on a camel, then he must keep putting that goods on the same camel. However, each camel has a goods limit, and if that limit is exceeded, the camel will drop exhausted and the player will lose all the goods accumulated in their saddlebags at once.

Each player, in clockwise order, chooses a previously unchosen market, optionally uses the power from it, and picks up and loads its wares, as the previous player did previously. Each player then has the option to sell at most one camel's wares, and each type of wares delivers coins differently:

Dates: The cards show from 1 to 4 dates, and the more you sell at once, the more money you receive.

Carpets: Cards come in six colors, and you cannot sell the same color twice in a lot. Again, the more you sell at once, the better.

Vases: Cards come in three types of vase (some of them offer 2 different options), and you can only sell one type of vase at a time

Fruits: Cards come in four types that are worth different amounts, and you can only sell the lowest value fruit.

Then, when all players have acted, a 1-value coin is placed on the unchosen market, all other markets are flipped over, those markets are refilled with cards, and the next round begins. When the deck runs out, one more round is completed - selling each of your camels once - and then the player who has accumulated the most coins is the winner.
