Road To Hell - D-Day Says

June 6, 1944. Before you can invade the beaches of Normandy, you must cross the English Channel! Climb aboard a vulnerable landing craft in a raging sea, dodge water mines and various obstacles, and try to survive the constant bombardment to reach the bloody arena. When you arrive, fight alongside historical heroes, complete special missions, and hopefully earn yourself a promotion or two. One thing is clear: the only way out of here alive is through hell itself.
This expansion for D-Day Dice adds a wealth of content to the game, in the form of five modules that can be played separately o Simultaneously:
Road to Hell is a short introductory mini-game that will let you experience the harrowing journey by ship to reach the shores. Pilot your landing craft carefully, avoiding the relentless bombardment and deadly mines, and transport your troops from the sea map to the shore, safely. The better you do, the more troops and resources you'll have when you start battling on the beach!
Special Missions are 40 cards that add a new layer of complexity to the game through specific objectives. Each player has a different one and all of them must be completed... Or you will lose the game! Completing them will draw one of 12 combat promotion cards.
Heroes are real figures from WW2! These 25 cards replace Specialists with a higher cost and, of course, better abilities. Now you can have Corporal Léo Major, combat photographer Robert Capa, hero Audie Murphy, paratrooper John Frost, or even war correspondent Ernie Pyle in your unit!
Golden dice can be played like red ones, white and blue, but with a difference: you will choose its color in the final roll!
SHAEF is a new playable country that adds a new color (pink) and a unique table of RBA bonuses. Did someone say pink dice?
Along with new decorations, vehicles, and the 3 sea maps from the "Road to Hell" module, this box includes 5 exciting battle maps to expand the scope of your invasion and provide you with even more more interior targets.
