B-17 Leader: The Flying Fortress is a solo wargame that strategically recreates the US air campaign against German-occupied Europe between 1942 and 1945. During the game, the player must make critical decisions, such as which targets to attack, which squadrons will carry out the mission, or how to equip and arm those squadrons… all this to maximize the efforts of the 8th Air Force that he commands to try to bring Nazi Germany to its knees. Once the player has planned and prepared the mission, the planes take off, and the game system reacts to the B-17 raid by sending fighters to intercept them and firing all available anti-aircraft artillery.
