War Stories - D-Day Dice

The War Stories expansion contains 4 completely independent modules. They can be added individually or together to the base game. They consist of:
War Stories: small scenarios written on cards, which are drawn at random or chosen at the beginning of each game. These scenarios use markers to add various effects to the game, such as artillery fire, or to mark specific objectives for players, such as trying to find deceased officers on the beach. Some even emulate the rising tide or provide the player with additional bonuses if they perform certain actions.
Legendary Units: Each player now controls one historical unit from those who fought in the Normandy landings. Legendary Units have their respective Legendary Specialists and Legendary Items, which are always available, but only for their respective Legendary Unit. Additionally, each Unit comes with its own set of RWB bonuses, adding a lot of replayability and variety to the game.
Poland: A 5th player color (black) along with a full set of Specialists and dice (and their own set of bonuses RWB). This gives players a new color to choose from, or the option to add a fifth player to the game.
Military: Military cards represent individual foot soldiers who join your Unit for a time. Each one comes with resources: on each Military card, 2 or 3 roll results are shown. You can discard the Military at any time to add these results to your total sum (this can help you get some RWB bonuses).
Also includes Battle Maps based on air operations.
