Florence

Set in the Italian city of the same name, Florence asks players to elevate her family's status and sail across the city on the night of a grand carnival to arrange meetings with the Medici's ruling figureheads: Cosimo, Giovanni and Contessina.<

Florence is a European-style area control game where the regions you want to hold change each round as the Medici move through the city, attending various functions. Over nine rounds, each player sends family members to attend parties, give gifts, brag about their accomplishments, engage in fake gossip, and weave their way through crowds for valuable face-to-face time with the Medici. The main resource in Florence is time: as the carnival gets underway and the streets fill with revelers, it will become more difficult to navigate them and you'll have to be careful what actions you ask your Kindred to take.< br>
But make sure your family is at the front of each row and the most talked about, as you will get valuable points to raise your family's status. As the night progresses, each Medici becomes more difficult to impress, earning you more points for increasingly difficult objectives.
