2491 Planetship

Based on City of Spies: Estoril 1942, 2491 Planetship re-implements the mechanics of a city of spies in a new fictional universe filled with rich lore and characters.

In this game, each player captains a "planet" , a world-sized spaceship roaming the galaxy, and you've received a distress signal from the mothership Alpha, the first and largest planetary ship of all! Quickly making their way to the signal's coordinates, players are faced with the horrifying sight of a planetary ship now collapsing and about to explode. This is where the game begins.

Each player must send their best team of characters to land at various locations on Mothership Alpha to rescue their most valuable crew. Location boards are randomly selected to be used each round. Control of these will be disputed in each of the four rounds of the game. Players start the game with the same hand of characters (tokens) and take turns placing these tokens on the open spaces of the various locations on the board. At the end of each round, players check each location to see which player earns the reward for that location.
