Tabriz

Tabriz is a board game in which you will have to, among many other things, weave and sell luxurious rugs in the bustling Persian market of Tabriz. Run errands for commoners, and before long, merchants and royalty will be taking notice of you, too. Earn the highest prestige on completed assignments to win the game and become the undisputed master of your craft.

 

On your turn, you move one of the 3 helper meeples around the Grand Bazaar and perform the action where it lands. Actions include buying, trading, and rolling dice for wool, camel hair, silk, vegetable dye, and carmine dye. Each wizard is limited in scope, but with careful planning you can organize a quick and efficient series of actions that gets you all the materials you need for your assignments before another player completes theirs. At the end of each turn, if you have the necessary materials, you may complete 1 task in your hand.

Resources are limited and the market fluctuates every round. Be on the lookout for opportunities to get more for less and avoid times when the resource you need is out of stock everywhere. Gain the ability to attract better commissions, advance your helpers in each round, claim and complete multiple commissions at once, and earn extra prestige. Optionally play with Advanced Workshop Mode so that each weaver has their own unique ability taken at the start of the game and at the end of each round.

 

When any player completes 9 or more assignments, or gets the maximum of 14 skills, the current round is over and the player with the most prestige wins!

Includes a strong solo mode with multiple AI opponents.
