Originally little more than a minor family, the Ten Thunders worked for generations to become the most powerful family in the Three Kingdoms. When the Breach opened, they had the connections and martial power to kill those who originally discovered it and to maintain singular access to it. They hold that access to this day, using their position to control events both in the Three Kingdoms and Earthside.
