Malifaux 2E: Guild - Peacekeeper (1)

Since the discovery of steam, humans have created machines to do things that they would rather not do themselves. Perhaps the job is too tedious, perhaps it is too dangerous. Perhaps a machine can simply do it better. When it comes to destroying enemies and fouling their plans, the latter is the case for building the Peacekeepers. Expertly crafted to move quickly through terrain in search of prey, they can fling their great harpoons at targets and reel them back into closer range where they are in reach of their claws.

At times the Peacekeepers are programmed no for murder, but rather for demolition. Entering into the enemys territory with the intention of foiling his plans can be too great a risk, but Peacekeepers will face such threats without fear. Since they are so well made, there is only a limited supply available to serve the needs of the Guild at any given time. Seeing that a plan has attracted enough notice to earn a Peacekeeper deployment can be both thrilling and terrifying for any young upstart.
