In The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, players assemble a group of adventurers trying to complete dangerous missions in Middle-earth. From the joyous fields of the Shire to the sinister roads of the Mirkwood and even into the mighty kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan, the memorable heroes of this famous setting unite to resist the threat of Sauron, the Dark Lord.

The Lord of the Rings, the Card Game is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players in which they collaborate to compete against the scenarios controlled by the game. Like the Living Card Game®, additional cards and missions will be available in future expansions, allowing players to customize the contents of this set or create their own original decks.
