There are three types of this material, each of which varies in density and application, namely

As a result, this type is not recommended for serious cosplayers looking for long-lasting creations.
• Medium density (30-40 Shore hardness) is the most commonly used in cosplay. It strikes a balance between flexibility and firmness, making it ideal for constructing armor, accessories, and props that require some degree of structural integrity while remaining comfortable to wear. This type can be easily heat-molded, sanded, and detailed, making it versatile for a variety of projects.
• High density (above 50 Shore-A hardness) is stiffer and more durable, and is used for larger or more complex pieces that need to maintain their shape over time. It is ideal For helmets, shields, or armor pieces that need to withstand more wear. Although heavier and more difficult to work with than the medium-density version, the hard-density version provides a robust, polished finish for professional-quality projects.
