ThermoArt Thermoplastic Sample Pack

ThermoArt thermoplastic is an extruded material created by Green Stuff World, primarily used in the manufacture of costumes, accessories, and props for cosplay, as well as for modeling and sculpting various pieces for model making, theater, and other creative projects.

It is a thermoformable polymer that, when heated with a hot air gun, hot water, or steam, becomes malleable and can be molded into any shape. Upon cooling, the material regains its rigidity, offering a strong and durable structure. Its surface can be easily sanded, painted, and decorated, adapting to different creative needs.

This ThermoArt Thermoplastic Sample Pack is a selection of four types of thermoplastic in 200x300mm size, and includes:

1. Black Art, a black thermoplastic for creating armor, accessories, and props with a smooth, professional black finish.
2. Pearly White, simply white with a surface ideal for acrylic paints and details, being the easiest to paint in light colors.
3. Armor Grey, a light grey armor material, ideal for making armor and helmets, as its grey finish hides chips and damage.
4. Smooth Beige, a smooth, non-granular material with a soft beige tone, suitable for custom finishes.
5. Transparent, a transparent thermoplastic, easy to thermoform from 70°C, ideal for solid parts such as armor, helmets, RC bodies, lenses, and other luminous visual effects.

This pack serves to provide a reference on the characteristics and properties of each material variant. It allows you to check the flexibility, Resistance and ease of handling before purchasing larger sheets. It is also useful for testing painting, texturizing, and assembly with different adhesives and tools.

The use of thermoplastics in cosplay and modeling has grown due to their lightness, strength, and ease of use. Thanks to their malleability when heated and their firmness once cooled, they are a suitable material for both beginners and experts.
