Tanchyo Clan

The Tanchyo have strong ties with the spirits of the Air and Earth with which they share the great forests. They see as their sacred duty to defend the forests from the intrusion of human culture and keep them unpolluted for enrichment of the generations to come.

The long bows of the Tanchyo are the best in Kagejima and their ingenious climbing team allows them to move through the treetops as if they were born for it. While all the Kagejima Clans are familiar with the use of the bow, the Tanchyo have elevated that use to the category of art. Tanchyo warriors prefer bow over all other weapons and every man, woman and child is trained and ready to wield a bow and make death rain over any threat to the Clan or the forest.
