Kitsune Clan

The Kitsune are powerful mystics and expert herbalists who have access to herbs and fungi that are found nowhere else in the world. They trade with their remedies and poisons in exchange for the goods of the other Clans, while reserving for themselves the most potent and arcane plasters.

For many in Kagejima, the difference between the Kitsune and the Kami who dwell in the shadowy forests is non-existent. For their part, the Kitsune are relatively open and cheerful people, delighted to share friendship with anyone who deserves their esteem. However, they have a fickle and capricious nature very similar to that of their namesake. In addition, the joking behavior of the Kitsune can quickly become avian depending on their mood. Many of the more formal clans see the Kitsune as rogues in which they can not be trusted, while their friends see them as wise pranksters.
