The vast boreal forests and tundra beyond the Wall are home to the myriad beings that make up the Free People; those who are known as savages, who bow down to no king and who prize their freedom above all else. So when banners are raised to summon them all, few southern lords can conceive of the tidal wave of howling savages that is about to engulf them. Although individually the raider units are little more than armed peasants, easily crushed and disrupted, when massed together they become a tremendous wave of destruction that is perfectly capable of overcoming units with much heavier weaponry than their own.
