A Song of Ice and Fire Jdm: Karstark Lancers

Few things are more terrifying to charging cavalry than a battle line of battle-hardened lancers in tight formation with their weapons aimed straight ahead; which is particularly true when above those bastion formations the banner of the white sun flies. Spearmen of House Karstark can form a wall or fence of gleaming spearheads in a matter of seconds, making them the perfect cover for the ever-vulnerable flanks and rear of any battle line, which is where any troop Unimpeded cavalry can break through without any resistance. Being equipped with chain mail and leather allows them to absorb a certain amount of damage, but they are not in themselves a suitable unit to fight in the vanguard. However, their mobility does make them suitable for both defense and assault.
