A Song of Ice and Fire: Piqueros de Altojardín

Highgarden Castle, the seat of power for House Tyrell, is reputed to be a place of chivalrous virtue. Due to this, House Tyrell has placed its Highgarden pikemen at the disposal of the self-proclaimed King Renly in response to the request for help that the youngest of the Baratheon brothers has made in his struggle to seize the Iron Throne after death. by Robert Baratheon. The rigorous training of these warriors allows them to create a lethal moving wall on the battlefield, since they have been trained to perfection in the use of their pikes. Additionally, when accompanied by a pike captain, their formidable combat prowess is further enhanced because the captain coordinates the attacks of each and every one of his soldiers, ensuring that the unit will fight with a fearlessness that goes beyond what would seem to be humanly possible.
