Bronze Beasts patrol the streets of Meereen, one of the three great slave cities. Established by Daenerys Targaryen, the beasts get their name from the bronze masks they wear, which are molded to mimic the appearance of ferocious animals such as big cats, birds of prey, and bears. In addition, its troops are made up of freedmen and shaved heads from the city itself, which form a guard corps whose founding purpose was to support the Unsullied, since it was quite common for them to be killed while making their rounds. The Bronze Beasts are fearless and plunge into danger, eager to engage their opponents in close combat and unconcerned with wading into dark alleys protected by little more than light armor.
