Poggle the Lesser was the Archduke of the Geonosians during the Clone Wars. While he obeyed the orders of the queen of his hive, Karina the Great, the archduke was the public face of the Geonosians. Poggle the Lesser worked closely with Count Dooku to have the droids produced in the Geonosis factories serve the Confederacy of Independent Systems. One of Poggle's most loyal lackeys, Sun Fac, acted as his lieutenant. Like any individual who rose to the highest echelons of the Geonosian aristocracy, Sun Fac was as ruthless toward his Geonosian lackeys as he was toward his enemies.
