Frontier Troopers are specialized stormtroopers sent to frontier worlds across the galaxy when they have just submitted to Imperial authority.
They are trained to intervene in all types of climates and terrain, using specialized equipment such as high-powered magnetic boots to accomplish their missions. This equipment contributes to accentuating the bravery, tenacity and strength of the few soldiers admitted to the ranks of the border troops when they are deployed to quell uprisings and rebellions by hostile locals with little or no reinforcements.
