Kanan Jarrus was one of the few Jedi to survive Order 66, going underground for some time and relying more on a blaster than his lightsaber. Jarrus took Ezra Bridger, a Force-sensitive young man with impressive potential, both as an apprentice and as a way to regain control of his destiny.
Watching his back is Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios, a burly and cunning lasat who acts as the Phantom's "muscles" and has a special predilection for pummeling stormtroopers. This trio can be considered the heavyweights of the Ghost's crew, and they do not shy away from any danger.
