Yellow & Yangtze

The Warring States period (475-221 BC) was an era of endless wars between seven rival states: Qin, Chu, Qi, Yan, Han, Wei and Zhao. These states were finally unified in 221 a. C. by the Qin dynasty, which would be the origin of what we know today as China, with its two main rivers: the Yellow River and the Yangtze. Yellow & Yangtze, a reimplementation of the acclaimed Tigris & Euphrates, invites you to revisit this memorable period and bring your dynasty to victory.

In Yellow & Yangtze, players will develop their civilizations through a tile laying system, and they have five different leaders at their disposal: Governor, Soldier, Farmer, Merchant and Craftsman. Leaders are used to earn victory points in these categories. However, the final score of the game will be that of your category with fewer points. Conflicts will arise when civilizations intersect on the board, and to achieve success, the civilizations of the players must survive these conflicts, calm the revolts of the peasants and achieve security that allows them to build prestigious pagodas.
