Gentes: Deluxified

In Gentes, players take on the role of an ancient people trying to develop by building monuments and colonizing or founding new cities in the Mediterranean Sea. An innovative timing mechanism requires players to use a multitude of different tactical decisions during the game.

The game takes place over six rounds, each consisting of two phases in which players select actions and earn rewards. The six rounds are divided into three eras, at the beginning of which new monument cards are added to the deck. Each player has an individual board with a counter for action and time markers. Playing cards, building or founding cities, erecting monuments and educating your inhabitants, you will obtain benefits and improvements that will allow you to develop your civilization and get victory points.

Guiding your people through the ups and downs of history, you will have to choose the best path while optimizing your time. To win, you must be able to master the abilities of the inhabitants of all social classes.
