The Magnificent

Number 1 on the BGG Buzzgeek list at the 2019 Essen show.

The Magnificent is a game with dice selection mechanics, where players take on the role of directors of a traveling circus, traveling, choosing their artists and preparing their performances, with the aim that their show attracts the largest audience.

During three rounds, divided into four turns, players will select dice of one of the 4 colors. The dice will allow them to perform actions that will be more powerful as they accumulate dice of the same color.

There are three actions in the game: building the camp (taking tiles of the color of the dice and placing them on your player board), traveling (obtaining gems, shops and posters) and finally acting (fulfilling the requirements of the posters), obtaining money and victory points. Our teachers and coaches will be of great help in carrying out our actions and obtaining extra benefits.

At the end of each round, players win a new card and discard another, scoring points according to its criteria. But be careful, a cost will have to be assumed at the end of the round depending on the dice chosen, so we will have to measure the power of our actions very well if we do not want to be in a compromised situation because we cannot pay the cost.
