Now or Never (Spanish)

Now or Never is a board game in which you will compete to rebuild your ancestral village and guide the rest of the villagers on their journey back home. Although the meteorite creatures have lost much of their strength, many of them remain, and you must fight to protect the traveling villagers.

 

Far south of The Last Ruin is a cliffside village called The Monument. For generations, it protected an ancient shrine until the day a crystal meteorite descended. The meteorite's inhabitants slowly emerged into the world, strange, nightmarish monstrosities that attacked everything in their path. As they spread across the land, there was no clever malice or grand invasion strategy; The creatures acted like a fungus: they spread sporadically into new territories. After many unsuccessful attempts to drive out the monsters, the inhabitants of The Monument fled as their town fell apart, exiling themselves to distant lands, resigned to a nomadic existence.

Twenty years later, there are rumors that the strange monsters are weakening. They are slower, less resistant to attacks, some undergo gradual petrification until they turn to dust. Is it the atmosphere? Are they dying of old age? Do they suffer from a strange illness? No one knows for sure, but as news spreads, various factions set their sights on the empty, ruined village of The Monument. The original inhabitants, now refugees, are desperate to return and rebuild. But they must do it quickly, before someone claims their home. This is your chance. It's now or never.

In Now or Never you can choose one of four asymmetrical characters. You'll have to carefully choose what and where to build to maintain the advantage, reaping the greatest rewards for long-term planning. Interact with other players by hiring their specialists to perform special actions while you fight dangerous creatures.

Now or Never includes two game modes: standard and story. When you play story mode, you read a storybook as you explore, make decisions, and learn more about the characters and the world. Each character has their own story, unique to the places they explore and with different plots, perspectives and motives, allowing you to choose the direction your own story will take.
