GAMEPLAY

The Scorn Well is made up of four challenge cards, with Scorn himself in the middle. When a challenge is passed, another takes its place, for a total of 52 challenge cards. When facing challenges in the Well, you may only play one ability card from your hand that matches the color of the challenge card. This means that if you face a red challenge card, you may only play one red ability card. Some cards will have two colors, and others will be white or wild. If the card you play fails the challenge, you may add some progress to it and try again, though you may incur a penalty for doing so. Other Seekers can provide assistance by playing one of their own cards as a reinforcement, but be careful. Running out of cards grants you Exhaustion before you can draw a new hand. Exhaustion cards are never good, but some are worse than others.

Defeating a challenge will grant you a reward, such as regaining health or going deeper into the Pit, represented by discarding unseen challenge cards. Once you've reached the bottom of the Pit, you'll face the Scorn himself. All Seekers share a common health pool, and if it reaches zero, you will be defeated. This is a game that requires teamwork.
